Welcome to Clouded Judgement! In a series of weekly data-driven posts that will be published on Friday mornings I’ll break down the latest valuation trends (and the operating metrics driving these changes) behind the universe of Cloud / SaaS public companies. Over the years as a venture capitalist I’ve developed frameworks (many of them data driven) to evaluate private SaaS businesses that are broadly applicable to their public counterparts.

My hope is that through this analysis entrepreneurs can build similar frameworks for how to measure their own business, and ultimately put together a blueprint of how to become a successful public company.
