Excellent research - thanks for sharing! I love the application of private market views (something I'm personally also more familiar with) to the public markets. It would be interesting to go deeper into the verticals within SAAS - maybe that's something your analyst can do next quarter :)

Great analysis! Really interesting. Next time, I think you can use our WCLD instead of Nasdaq for a better benchmark of over/underperformance

Jamil, thanks a million. Awesome report. Do you have any recommendation for understanding the AI/ML companies specifically - too many - SNOW, AYX, SPLK and now AI.....so many and cant tell who will win and who will lose

I cannot remember having seen anything comparable. Great job, very comprehensive and clear. Subscribed! Found you through a Twitter recommendation, so today is one of the (few) days when Twitter represents value.

Thanks for sharing your research! I can't see Shopify on the chart for Dollar Net Retention, or for Gross Margin Adjusted CAC Payback. You say those are your two favorite metrics. Does that undermine the significance of Shopify being one of "only two companies to perform at Top Decile levels across every metric they report"? I don't mean the question rhetorically or in a critical way, I just want to know how to rate Shopify as well as I can.

Great work! Another metric you can look at is how consensus expectations for different years are shifting over time. You can get the data easily from the likes of Koyfin. Helps further cement whether companies are likely to be in an upgrade cycle or not.
